BUSINESS SETUP
The right structure
for you.
Mainland, Free Zone or Offshore: the choice depends on your activity, target market and operating model. The consultation helps define the structure before incorporation begins.
Explore the advantages of each jurisdiction
Mainland
For doing business directly in the UAE market.
- Local market access. Do business with clients in the UAE and abroad within the scope of your licence.
- Control of your company. 100% foreign ownership is possible for most activities.
- Choice of location. Establish your operations outside a free zone, subject to the applicable approvals.
Your chosen activity determines the licence and any restrictions on foreign ownership.
Free Zone
For growing your business within a specialised ecosystem.
- 100% foreign ownership. Full investor ownership of the company.
- A sector-focused environment. Access to infrastructure, services and support specific to your chosen zone.
- Potential tax benefit. 0% Corporate Tax on Qualifying Income when the company meets the conditions for a Qualifying Free Zone Person.
The tax benefit is not automatic and does not cover all income. Mainland operations may require additional licensing.
Offshore
For structuring shareholdings and international investments.
- A holding structure. Solutions for holding shares and organising assets and investments, depending on the jurisdiction.
- International control. Structures such as RAK ICC allow 100% foreign ownership and capital repatriation without restrictions imposed by that jurisdiction.
- Corporate flexibility. RAK ICC offers different company types and share classes to tailor the structure to investors' goals.
Benefits vary between offshore jurisdictions. This structure does not replace a licence to operate locally or imply automatic tax exemption.
BUSINESS SETUP
A coordinated
operation.
Incorporation and licensing are coordinated with the preparation of banking documents. We treat each stage as part of the same process.
- Company formation and licensing
- Document preparation for a corporate bank account
- Coordination with local and European teams
BUSINESS SETUP
A new presence.
A new life.
The right visa supports your continued presence in the UAE and helps you plan a move with your family. We coordinate residency planning with your business project.
Explore the advantages of each option
Investor or partner residency
- Live in the UAE. Establish your residence in the country for the duration of the permit.
- Stay close to your business. A local base to manage your company, meet partners and develop operations, with the applicable licences.
- Plan for continuity. Renewal may be possible as long as the conditions of your chosen category continue to be met.
Eligibility and duration depend on the residency category, company structure and competent authority.
Family residency
- Move together. The possibility of sponsoring residency for your spouse and eligible children.
- Family stability. Live in the same country and organise family life around your new home base.
- Educational continuity. Resident children can study in the UAE, subject to admission and the institution's requirements.
Sponsorship depends on the requirements for the resident and family members, including income, accommodation and documentation.
Golden Visa
- A longer horizon. 10-year residency for investors and entrepreneurs who meet the criteria for their category.
- No local sponsor. Greater autonomy in establishing your residence in the UAE.
- Your family is part of the plan. The possibility of obtaining residency permits for eligible family members.
- Freedom to shape your future. Live, study, invest and work in the UAE, subject to the applicable authorisations.
The Golden Visa requires its own eligibility assessment and approval. Incorporating a company alone does not guarantee it.
If you continue operating from Europe, we also provide representation and local presence in the UAE.
